While earlier rumors had suggested that the OnePlus 6 may be priced significantly higher than its predecessor, a new report from True-Tech
now claims that it will actually come with a price-tag that won’t be
massively different from the OnePlus 5T. The report, which quotes ‘a
reliable and verified source’, claims that the 64GB model of the OnePlus
6 will be priced at Rs. 36,999 in India, while the 128 GB version will
apparently be available for a cool Rs. 39,999.
There’s no word currently on the pricing for the 256GB version,
but True-Tech’s source apparently claims that the company is planning
to launch the top-end model in the country at some stage going forward.
The device has been rumored to be launched in three different avatars,
with a base 6GB/64GB version accompanied by a 6GB/128GB model and an
8GB/128GB variant.

While there’s no corroboration for the report, it’s worth noting that
the publication also revealed the pricing information for the OnePlus
5T ahead of its India launch last year, with information from the same
source. It’s not entirely clear, however, whether the source quoted by
True-Tech is from within Amazon or OnePlus India.
OnePlus last week announced that its next flagship, the OnePlus 6
will be launched in India on May 17, 2018 in Mumbai. The device will be
an Amazon exclusive, with Prime members getting the first opportunity
to get their hands on the device as part of an Early Access offer that will go live at Noon on May 21st.
